Focusing on the the Belt and Road | Renjiang contracted to build Zambia Optical Storage Charging Project

News 00

In the context of the deepening of the “the Belt and Road” initiative and the
increasingly close cooperation between China and Africa, Renjiang PV actively
responded to the call to participate in clean energy construction in Africa. On
March 5th, the photovoltaic storage and charging demonstration project of the
Sun City Hotel in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, which was solely funded by
Renjiang Photovoltaic, officially started construction, injecting new impetus
into the local green development.

New Opportunities for China Africa Energy Cooperation under the the Belt and
Road Initiative

The “the Belt and Road” initiative has built a bridge of connectivity and
win-win cooperation between China and Africa, and cooperation in the energy
field has become an important focus for the joint development of both sides.
Africa has abundant solar energy resources, but its energy infrastructure is
relatively weak, and the demand for clean energy is extremely urgent. Zambia, as
one of the important countries in Africa, has been actively seeking sustainable
energy solutions to meet the needs of economic development and improvement of
people’s livelihoods. Renjiang Photovoltaic, with its professional technology
and rich experience in the field of photovoltaics, keenly seized this
opportunity for cooperation and helped Zambia achieve energy transformation
through high-quality projects.

The high energy on the small roof

The photovoltaic storage and charging demonstration project that started
construction this time is located at the Sun City Hotel in Lusaka, the capital
of Zambia. The project will install photovoltaic systems on the resin roof of
the sixth floor of the hotel, with a total roof area of approximately 540 square
meters. Although the area may not be large, it contains enormous energy. The
photovoltaic installed capacity of the project reaches 100KW, with an energy
storage capacity of 209KWh. This means that the system can not only fully
utilize solar power during the day to meet some of the hotel’s electricity
needs, but also store excess electricity to continue supplying power to the
hotel at night or in low light conditions, achieving efficient energy
utilization and stable supply.

Starting a New Journey in the African Market with Point to Face

For Renjiang Photovoltaic, the Zambia photovoltaic storage and charging
demonstration project has profound strategic significance. The company hopes to
use this project as a starting point to gradually open up the Zambian market and
expand the entire African market. The successful implementation of this project
will become a shining business card for Renjiang Photovoltaic in Africa,
showcasing its advanced technology, reliable products, and high-quality
services, attracting more local customers and partners.

From a more macro perspective, this project is also a vivid practice of China
Africa energy cooperation, which helps to promote the development of clean
energy in Zambia, reduce dependence on traditional energy, lower carbon
emissions, and promote local sustainable development. At the same time, the
construction and operation of the project will also create employment
opportunities for the local area, drive the development of related industries,
and enhance the friendship and cooperation between the Chinese and African
peoples.

conclusion

The “the Belt and Road” initiative provides a broad stage for Chinese
enterprises to “go global”, and the commencement of the Zambia optical storage
and charging project contracted by Renjiang PV is just a beginning. In the
future, we have reason to believe that Renjiang Photovoltaic will create more
green miracles on this hopeful continent of Africa, and contribute more to China
Africa energy cooperation and sustainable development.
